FAQ

Questions, Answered.

Can I really reserve a unit online without calling?
Yes - that's the whole idea. Pick your size from the live availability grid, reserve and hold it online, and set up your access. Most people are done in under a minute, and you'll have your gate code the same day. You never have to call or stand at a counter unless you want to.
Do you require a long-term contract or a deposit?
No. Every unit is month-to-month, and we don't charge an administration fee or a security deposit. You pay for the month you're in. When you're done, give us notice and you're out - no early-termination penalty, no games.
What's the difference between climate-controlled and drive-up units?
Climate-controlled units sit inside a conditioned building that holds a steady temperature and humidity - the right choice for wood furniture, electronics, documents, and anything you'd hate to see warp or mildew in a Raleigh summer. Drive-up units let you pull a vehicle right up to a roll-up door for fast, heavy loading. Several of our sizes are available as either.
How do I know what size I need?
Use the Size Guide - tell it roughly what you're storing and it recommends a unit. As a rule of thumb: a 5x5 holds a large closet, a 10x10 holds a one-to-two bedroom apartment, and a 10x30 holds a five-plus bedroom home or a full e-commerce inventory. When in doubt, size up a little; the cost difference is small and the elbow room is worth it.
What are your access hours?
The gate is open to tenants 24/7/365 with a personal access code. The rental office is staffed Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm, if you'd rather talk to a person - but you never need the office to get into your unit.
Is the property secure?
The entire lot is perimeter-fenced with a single gated entrance and individual keypad access, so we always know who's on site. High-definition cameras record the gate, drive aisles, and building entrances continuously, and the aisles are brightly lit after dark.
